Terms & conditions
These terms apply to consumer purchases from the Spiceful online shop operated by 2FUL Ltd. They do not reduce any rights you have under UK consumer law.
1. The seller
Spiceful is a trading brand of 2FUL Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16256899. Registered office: 3 Parfrey Street, First Floor, London, England, W6 9EW. Customer-service enquiries may be started through our Contact page. A working customer-service email must be displayed before checkout is activated.
2. Products
We sell Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla in the formats shown as available. Product descriptions, ingredients, net quantity, storage instructions, durability information, lot identification, responsible food-business details and legally required warnings must be confirmed on the product page and approved label before sale. Natural products may show reasonable variation in appearance, size, colour, moisture and aroma without being defective.
3. Prices and delivery charges
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Before an order is placed, the checkout must state the total product price, whether VAT is included where applicable, and all delivery or other unavoidable charges. If a pricing error is obvious, we may reject the order and refund any amount paid rather than supply at the incorrect price.
4. Placing an order
The checkout allows you to review and correct your basket and delivery information before submitting an order. Clicking the final payment button makes an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not by itself mean acceptance. A contract is formed when we send an acceptance or dispatch confirmation, depending on the wording used at checkout. We may decline an order for lack of stock, payment failure, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions or a material error, and will refund any payment taken.
5. Payment
Accepted payment methods will be displayed at checkout and processed by the selected payment provider. You confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen method. We do not intend to store full card details. Payment is subject to the provider’s security checks.
6. Delivery
We initially deliver only to eligible UK addresses shown at checkout. Available methods, charges and estimates will be displayed before payment. Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is made. Risk passes when the goods are delivered to you or a person you identify. Please provide an accurate, accessible delivery address.
7. Cancelling because you changed your mind
For most online purchases, consumers may cancel from the date the contract is made until 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To cancel, send a clear statement through our Contact page; a statutory model cancellation form will also be made available before checkout opens. After notifying us, return the goods within 14 days to the return address we provide.
You are responsible for the direct cost of return unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or we agree otherwise. We may reduce a refund for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. We will refund the price and standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days after receiving the returned goods or evidence of return, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
8. Hygiene and other statutory exceptions
The cancellation right may not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, or to goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. We will rely on an exception only where it lawfully applies to the specific product and packaging; this does not affect rights relating to faulty, unsafe or misdescribed goods. Opening packaging does not automatically remove statutory rights unless the legal conditions for an exception are met.
9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, unsafe or defective, contact us promptly with the order number and, where helpful, photographs. Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, remedies may include rejection and refund, replacement or another appropriate remedy. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights.
10. Availability, recalls and food safety
All orders are subject to stock. We may limit quantities or withdraw a product. If a safety issue or recall arises, we may contact customers using relevant order details and provide instructions. Follow the storage, use-by or best-before and safety information supplied with the product.
11. Our responsibility
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, defective products where liability cannot be excluded, or breach of mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
12. Personal information
We use personal information as described in our Privacy policy and use device storage as described in our Cookie policy.
13. Complaints and governing law
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live. The parties may also use any dispute-resolution scheme that 2FUL Ltd formally adopts and identifies on the site.
14. Changes
The terms in force when you order will apply to that order. We may update future terms for legal, operational or commercial reasons. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
